The 2009 Ansan Street Arts will take place at Ansan Lake Park in Gojan-dong, sponsored by the Ansan Culture and Arts Center. The festival began in 2005 and has been gaining steady popularity with its circus, mime, juggling, magic, comedy and street music. Last year's festival alone attracted 900,000 audiences and was recognized as the 10 main festivals of Gyeonggi-do (Gyeonggi Province). This year presents biggest number of performance yet with 57 performance teams. Among them 20 teams are from overseas from 17 nations.

The official ceremony will kick off with the non-verbal street performance Garden of Wonders by Factoria M from Spain followed by other overseas performances such as juggling Circo Abra by Circus Mont, the parade Parada Narrnia by Grotest Maru and more.
